Pride Hangouts
Pride Hangouts is a dynamic program designed to bring together LGBTQIA+ young adults aged 18-26 for social connection and enjoyable activities. The program aims to create a safe, inclusive space where young adults can meet peers, build friendships, and engage in fun experiences.
Monthly Themed Meetups: Each month features a different activity or theme, such as:
Game nights (board games, video games, trivia)
Movie screenings and discussions
Art workshops (painting, crafts, photography)
Outdoor adventures (hikes, picnics, sports)
Cooking classes or potluck dinners
Dance lessons or karaoke nights
Community Service Projects: Quarterly volunteer opportunities to give back to the local community.
Skill-sharing Workshops: Participants can teach and learn from each other in areas like technology, arts, life skills, or professional development.
LGBTQIA+ History and Culture Nights: Exploring and celebrating LGBTQIA+ heritage, icons, and current events.
Social Media Group: A private online space for members to stay connected between events and share resources.
Special Events: Collaborations with local LGBTQIA+-friendly businesses, participation in Pride events, and holiday celebrations.
